Weril Play With EmotionFounded in September 1909, Weril's origins come from Austria.The manufacture of instruments, which began as totally hand-made, followed the main international trends. But Pedro Weingrill, Weril's founder and where the name "Weril" comes from (shortened version of Weingrill), saw the need to increase productivity and cut costs, in order to make musical instruments available to a larger number of people. This is the philosophy that has continued throughout Weril's history. Today it is the largest musical instrument (and the only wind instrument) manufacturer in Brazil. More than 3,500 instruments are dispatched monthly from its industrial plant in a 42,000 m2 area in Franco da Rocha/SP, to supply all of Brazil and other demanding markets such as Germany and the USA. By investing large sums of money in the modernization and automation of its production, due to their permanent commitment to quality, Weril takes an active part in different initiatives linked to music education and performance around the world.
