Elaine Epifano

An extremely talented woodwind specialist, Elaine has been a highly valued performer in a wide and varied number of groups including: The Melbourne Wind Orchestra, The Australian National Youth Band and The Melbourne Youth Symphonic Band to name just a few.

A multi-instrumentalist and skilled to Licentiate level, her main instruments are flute, clarinet and saxophone, but is also a talented vocalist and pianist, and very experienced conductor with over ten full live musicals to her name as well as significant recording work with D#'s Dixieland Jazz Ensemble.

Holding a Bachelor of Education, Elaine's main focus at present is in teaching where she holds the position of Head of Music and Performing Arts at Newhaven College.

When asked about her Weril Spectra II Alto Saxophone she said:

"I just love the quality of it's sound."
