While it is very easy to read, it presents strong arguments against some of the basic fundamentals of the church and is therefore better used by serious students of the Bible, in study groups or bible colleges. The warning for this book should be stronger! You can't expect people not to be confused and upset by reading material that goes against the grain of their beliefs. This is book is far too confronting to help anybody. We accept Christianity by faith and so we shouldn't question anything. The act of questioning goes against the idea of having faith.   A.C.

Thank you for your comments. I agree with most of what you say but am not sure how to make the warning any stronger (apart from adding your comment here). I certainly don't want to hurt anyone's faith but rather I think that a bit of research and study into opposing views might serve to strengthen ones faith.    Colin

Many of the contrary arguments make a lot of sense and I have a new found appreciation for why there are such wide divisions and disagreements in Christianity. I believe that most people are naturally lazy and don't want to study and so called church "Bible Studies" are generally very weak and only "feelings" based.
